and White
Scholarship Gala
The annual Black & White Scholarship Gala is a night for members of the community to celebrate the achievements of young adults. We strive each year to create a memorable experience for our guests, a presentation of our mentees to the community, and a source of revenue to fund future scholarships and educational development.
Since 1986, the Columbus Alumni Chapter has supported 200 local students with a total of $200,000 in partial scholarships.
Now in its third installment, the Black & White Scholarship Gala was held Saturday, September 28, 2024 at The Ohio Union, 1739 N High St, Columbus, OH 43210
Our special guest for the evening was Emmy Award Winning Broadcaster Ed Gordon.
Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway
For 15 years, the Columbus (OH) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated has hosted an annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway in the heart of Mt. Vernon. In 2024, 1,000 turkeys and fixings are given away to residents of the 43201, 43203, 43205, 43206, and 43219 ZIP Codes.
