Columbus (OH) Alumni Chapter

The Columbus (OH) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi® is proud to have a long history of supporting students' pursuit of higher education. In 1986, the Columbus Alumni Chapter started a scholarship fund, the Columbus Kappa Scholarship Fund, with the modest aim of supporting one male student from Columbus City Schools annually. The Scholarship Fund was renamed the Kenneth L. Howard Endowed Scholarship Fund in 1998 to honor a former chapter member.

Since its inception in 1986, the Columbus Alumni Chapter has awarded scholarships to 220 students totaling nearly $200,000. The 2024 Scholarship Luncheon was covered by ABC6 (read here).

Applications are being accepted through December 1, 2025.
